New Releases Improve 3D and BIM Workflows

Written by: Keysoft Solutions

The most significant 3D and BIM enabled upgrades to KeyLINES, KeySIGNALS and KeySIGN to date have been released, plus compatibility updates to KeyACCIDENT and KeyOSC Mapper to run alongside these new updates.

The releases include compatibility with AutoCAD 2018 and its equivalents, providing support for all versions from AutoCAD 2014 through to 2018.

In KeySIGN, the enhanced 3D Sign Structure creation means that the full 3D sign face is modelled, as well as the post and foundations, to export for BIM collaboration.

KeySIGNALS and KeyLINES include automatic 3D draping on a surface for road markings as well as enhanced BIM data functionality including a BIM data template manager that allows you to define what consistent data fields are issued within the enhanced BIM and IFC export commands. This allows you to author your data-rich models to share with other BIM software, such as Navisworks.
