Introducing AutoCAD 2017
Autodesk have announced the release of AutoCAD 2017, the latest version of AutoCAD.
How is AutoCAD 2017 different to previous versions?
As well as the enhanced graphics and the improvements to 3D interaction you’ll also find the following key changes:
- A new licence manager makes it easier to change between licence types
- The new Autodesk Desktop App delivers security patches and learning content.
- Flexibility to import PDF files as well as export
Keysoft Solutions are currently developing AutoCAD 2017 compatible software updates and will be rolling these out during Q2. In the meantime, as the drawing format has not changed you can continue to share your drawings with colleagues, even those who are using AutoCAD 2017.
If you subscribe to AutoCAD or own perpetual licenses maintained by an active maintenance plan then the latest version can be downloaded from your Autodesk Account immediately. For those of you not on a maintenance plan you can download a free 30 day trial of AutoCAD 2017.
